I will be traveling to Lake Placid with my wife/husband/significant other/mom/dad/kids/dogs/friends - what can they do in Lake Placid when I am skating?
Lake Placid was designed with winter fun in mind. There are great places to snowshoe, cross country ski, downhill ski, and all other manner of fun. You can take a sled dog ride on the lake, or just walk around the village and shop or stop at one of our many restaurants or go to the movies. Lake Placid also has events happening constantly through the whole winter - as do area towns. More info:
